I've been have some troubles with my PM system lately. I received two emails notifying me of new messages, but when I visited my PM inbox, there was nothing there. This happend to my previous account as well. Is there any explaination? Maybe it happend when the forum was undergoing some changes? Nothing serious, but I'm just curious.

The explanation that comes to mind is that whoever sent them deleted them.

If you delete a PM from your outbox, the recipient won't get it. You have to wait until the message moves into your sent box before deleting.

It could be that whoever sent them was trying to keep his PM boxes organized, but was too overzealous? You'll know who when you get a message asking why someone's being ignored!!
