Istoria it calls Repousi

The gentleman of repousis wrote for the Greek schools the book of history
" only book of history was not "
all Greeks protested also thus became replacement of book

the Greek acquaintances for the humour and satira that they have
they wrote many satirikes proposals and they comment with humour the writer

to you I transport certain

Proposals to Mr Repousi for the next book of history that will write.

1. In 1940 the Germans with the program of his Social Tourism
Hitler they went massly to the Southern countries.

2. Period 1940 -1944 because the economic crisis where it had
Greece, the Greek Jews were assembled in the stations of trains
in order to they find a place for Germany in order to they find no one
work . Many died from the discomfort and the rush.

3. On 15 August 1940 where Mikonos still had not been developed
tourist the world went to the Tino where it had fun in the panagias
the Virgin Mary as well as a lot of tourists. Of course it became also
a accident when one Italian cruise-submarine fell from his negligence
governor in the Greek boat Elli.

4. In 1940 -44 had burst out in Greece horrible racism
at the expense the Germans of economic immigrants. Only few
Greeks saw German as equivalent European citizens
keeping simultaneously their Greek identity. They were the acquaintances
German-tsoliades that worked for the vision of Linked Europe.

5. In 1941 had been developed the cheap tourism in Crete. Many
of course Germans from lower economic layers found very economic
flights charter, without lodging in the island. In order to they rescue also their
taxes of airport they fell in the island with parachute. In many
Cretan did not like this tourism that did not yield exchange in
island and they accepted good the Germans in the island. Thus became her battle
Crete.

Ah! THIS sounds familiar! During the long Strike at the Times newspaper in the early 1980s, the striking workers published a spoof "Not Yet The Times and sold it through the same outlets on a sunday that normally sold the Sunday Times. It was a 48-page spoof including a FULL range of advertising and classified ads, including the legendary one-time-only offer of "SOTAR" tickets, available from your local travel agents to ANY destination worldwide - SOTAR standing for

Short
Of
The
Airport
Runway

All passengers were recommended to only carry ONE item of hand luggage - preferably made of steel - and a signal would be given along with the "fasten seatbelts for landing" signal for normal passengers. SOTAR passengers were to line up at cabin doors, and as the aircraft passed over the perimeter fence of your designated airport, cabin crew would assist you in disembarking before touchdown, thus escaping paying airport taxes.

Hopefully this reply goes through, had troubles trying to reply back then.

Tixodiokti, I am Australian but both my parents were born in Greece... but I like to follow up on things back in the Old Country, actually very much. :-D

Oh, and apologies for the smiley in my initial post. That was caused by the Greek question mark and bracket being so close together. I apologise if you thought that my post was sarcastic in nature.
