Gang, this topic isn't about WWII, but rather about WWI--and truth is, it's about the 1966 British-made WWI movie entitled "The Blue Max," which premiered to great international acclaim 41-years-ago. It's long been one of my favorite films, so, out of nostalgia, I took time some months ago to write to one of the film's Austrian-born stars, Frau Leontine Friedl von Liebentreu, or, as she was listed in the film, "Frau Elfi Heidemann." Happily, for the past few months I've been trading e-mails with Loni, and she's quite a sweetheart!
Here's a look at her official website, if you care to take time to look:

Too true, David.Commissar D, the Evil wrote:Great movie Uli! Introduced me to George Peppard and Ursula Andress when I was a teenager. Pity Peppard never again had as good a role.
Anyway, Good Luck with your correspondence!!!
Best,

Once one of the brightest of international stars, Peppard's glow greatly dimmed after 1966.
