Keilig's das Deutsche Heer might be a bit outdated, but has excellent charts, with regiments listed, batallions listed, even in some case kompanies listed, It really makes for easy searching. regards eric

I would like to add that he received the army honour roll clasp (ehrenblattspange) on 15 march 1945.

I managed to find out that the unit was fighting in Kurland in 1945. The 6th Kurland battle took place around the date of his award.

I could'nt find any more specific information. I hope somebody else can help you with that..
