August edition of DER FREIWILLIGE had an article which stated that the town where the monument is located had given the HIAG a deadline for removing the monument . I wonder if this act of vandalism could, in any way, be related. If the town owned the property on which the monument was placed, then ...

W-SS power politics

Tom - you're definitely onto something here. There's no question that many of the leading personalities of the W-SS - Dietrich, Hausser, Steiner, Eicke, Gottlob Berger, Karl Wolff, Jüttner, Fegelein et. al. all played their share of power politics within the SS organization and the larger Third Reic...

Hi Helmut, In one case a former WSS man was denied a touristvisa in the 1990's so he could visit has son in Los Angeles. the man was in his 80's and I'm sure presented no threat to our national security . Hi Gerhard - My condolences regarding your computer trouble. I wanted to point out that most self-replicating viruses nowadays, including the recent "So.Big" virus will often "spoof" sender email addresses - in other words, insert a random email address into the "from" ...

There WAS a report indicating that the church in question was used by the resistance for storage of gasoline (petrol), explosives, and ammo Then name it - give author, data, book title, microfilm roll, etc. But most reports about Oradour - Phillip Vickers, Max Hastings and Sarah Farmer's books spri...

i mean the waffen-ss were the ultimate elite unit often winning over forces 2 to 3 times their size
I dunno W-SS Robert; it's hard to see battles such as Kursk, the Korsun Pocket, Budapest, Normandy, the Ardennes, Nordwind and Spring Awakening as "wins" for the W-SS.
