Bohmische Waffenfabrik
Hi Guys, I've just acquired a Bohmische Waffenfabrik Pistole Model 27 Kal. 7.65 from a great friend. It is in reasonable condition has the Reichsadler proof stamp on the trigger guard. I somewhat familiar with this pistol, but, what I'd like to know, is who would have been issued this weapon origin...

Michael,
Were these figures sculpted by your own hand?
If so, they are remarkable.

Re: Can anyone recommend....
John, I located "Decision Before Dawn" easily. It is listed on Netflix. Good call, it was thoroughly enjoyable with believable characters all around. While there, I also came accross "The One That Got Away" about the escape of Luftwaffe pilot Franz von Werra. I would recommend t...

The World At War (1973)
I don't know if this book has been reviewed here prior to this post. Forgive me if it has. The World At War by Mark Arnold-Forster (1973) was first done as a television series for Thames Television. The book was written to accompany the television show. However the book is much more in depth than t...

Any decent WWII movies that are not strictly Allied propaganda films. In other words, movies that don't portray the Germans as simply one dimensional, mindless, bungling clowns, as so many do. I found "As Far As My Feet Will Carry Me" (2003 Foriegn) to be pretty good, showing a German sold...

Re: M35, M40, M42?
Hello Simon, Thanks for the link. Your site is very thorough. I see one example you've posted of shell/liner sizing listed as 64nA over 57. Is 7 cm usually the difference between shell and liner? My head size is 60 cm so would I need to find a 67cm shell to be correct? Also, are the shells marked i...

Re: M35, M40, M42?
Another question regarding the M40 helmet.
I've seen them listed with sizes in cm. Does this size pertain only to the liner or are the actual helmets different sizes as well?
Thanks,
PVH
