It was relatively common for the Fallschirmjäger to use their Panzerbuschen as sniper rifles after they had become useless in their intended role. They had long range and high accuracy. They were often fitted with scopes.

Rob, Typically, a Fallschirmjäger gruppe (squad) was of 12 men and had two MG's. A Zug (platoon) would have three Gruppen and a Zug HQ giving a total of 46 men. 2./FJR1 April 1940.
