Sid, I don't think the Brits did too bad adapting to the tank, i think Cambrai was a good indication of thier starting to think of mass. I think some of the Brits problems in WW1 were that to many of thier generals in high places were cavalry generals who had a very limited idea of infantry tactics. Some how they had these grand plans,big sweeping movements without an inkling of the many tactics the infantry man would have too employ...
