Take a look at this

Hi, Please, see for yourself. Most if not all of the german stuff comes from me, the translations and format are done by the site owner. I have also done a lot of research into the subject, by means of original german war manuals, leaflets etc. This way I was able to find the correct seating arrange...

Panzerbrigade 107

Hi, Since the 107. Panzerbrigade was largerly formed out of the remnants of the 25. Panzergrenadierdivision, and eventually returned to that division in November 1944, I would think they used a symbol simular to that of their "ancestors". Why I think they did? Because of the pictures of th...

No, do not send Europeans!

I have an even better idea! If there's something that I am getting sick and tired of, then it is the so-called Political Correctness BS. Yes, the White Man has done -and is still doing- terrible things to the world, but does that mean they can't try to improve living for the current people living in...

In other words...

Instead of making a new colony of Africa, why not put Africa in ward by a couple of strong (economic, influencial) nations. Since the end of WW2 almost all of the former colonies wanted independance -and they got it. But with independance you also should be responsible for yourself. How many indepen...

Now we are talking business!

Thanks Andy, this is very helpfull. You know, there are quite a few specialised KStN's around for this Sonderverband 287. What I don't understand is the Panz.Sp.Kp.: I do have a Panz.Sp.Zug for it, but no specified KStN for the Kp.: perhaps the Kp. was made up by 3 (?) Zuge plus the normal Gruppe Fü...

Sonderverband 287

Hi,

Who can tell me more about the Sonderverband 287. I don't need names of commanders, or something simular: I only need to know which subunits formed the Sonderverband and where it saw action.

Thanks in advance,

Piet

Well, what can I say. I have the same KStN's George Nafziger used for his works, and I can say his work is full of errors. But, and this is a great but, his work is important enough if you are not interested in exact numbers, for a general impression etc. Personally, I do not like his WW2-related bo...
