Due to a supportive better half, I was fortunate enough to receive the the German Order of Battle: Panzers and Artillery in WWII and the Infantry in WWII volumes for Christmas. After a quick search on the site for opinions of the volumes, I noted members stated there were errors within. On that note...

As a cartographer, I'm interested in mapping and maps.

I'm under the impression that Divisions were equipped with mapping detachments.

Does anyone have any information about these? Official Title? Organization? KStN? Anything?
