Re: Totenkopf Volume 2 by Yerger on Amazon.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading my copy of Volume 2. The superior photo reproduction is consistent throughout the book and adds significantly to the overall quality. The author made the extra effort to ensure that each photo was of the highest possible image quality. No “dark” photos were noted. I...

Re: Feldgrau Author: Marc Rikmenspoel

"Amazon honored their discounted price of USD 30.31 when I placed my order. My copy arrived today. The text and photo captions are very good. Most of the photos were new to me and it was interesting to place a face with a name. Unfortunately, about half of the photos appear quite a bit darker t...

Thanks Tom for your efforts. I find it difficult to understand why these spammers are attacking Feldgrau. These people must have very sick minds.

Re: Mooney's Waffen SS Knights Vol 4 to be released

I have read the first three volumes of this series. The author knows his subject well and has personally interviewed a number of the people that he writes about during his many years of researching this subject. These books are organized chronologically and the material is presented in the context o...

Re: Feldgrau Author: Marc Rikmenspoel

I just noticed on Amazon in the US that the selling price for new copies of Sunwheels and Siegrunen has dropped from $99.99 to only $30.31. Might be an error on Amazon's part, but that is a bargain price for a good book. http://www.amazon.com/Sunwheels-Siegrunen-Nederland-Waffen-SS-Photographs/dp/19...

Re: Feldgrau Author: Mike Miller

I see that Vol 1 of Miller's SS Ritterkreuzträger proposed "series" has been released by his publisher. It appears to be a BLIVET to me and I do not recommend it. Several weeks ago Mark Yerger and I posted comments on AHF asking Miller why he was writing a book about the SS Ritterkreuzträg...

Re: Strafvollzugslager der SS- und Polizei

I am very excited that Vol. 1 will soon be in print and I believe that Stuart and his publisher made an excellent choice of the topic to introduce readers to the Judicial arm of the SS. I have assisted Stuart with some of his research during the past 5 years and I am very familiar with the breadth o...

Re: Feldgrau Author: Mark C Yerger

Volume 1 of the Totenkopf Division was one of the most outstanding books on the Waffen-SS that I have ever read. I especially appreciated the detailed and extensive Endnotes which I read before the main text. As usual with Mark Yerger books, the multitude of original high-quality photos is truly exc...

I think that it is the same jerk coming back here day after day and registering under a new name. His IP address needs to be blocked.

Excellent Oral History Interview with an SS Vet

Here is an oral history interview conducted by the Holocaust Museum in 2008 with Dr. Adalbert Lallier, a veteran of the "Prinz Eugen" division, which they recently posted to their Web page. I have personally known Dr Lallier for nearly 20 years and I found it very interesting. It provides ...

Re: Feldgrau Author: Doug Nash

The long-awaited book, Kampfgruppe Mühlenkamp , arrived today. Even after seeing the draft, the final product greatly exceeded my expectations. Well done!! The amount of research that went into the production of this book is very evident and I am well-aware of the scope of the authors’ research. Bot...
