No Iranian Legion existed in the Waffen-SS. Earlier in the war, a couple of Arab Battalions were formed under Armee-Abteilung "F" to help overthrow the British controlled regime in Iraq. Not sure if Iranians were in these units.

Complete divisional OBs and campaign history in "Axis Slovakia, Hitler's Slavic Wedge, 1938-1945" by Mark W.A. Axworthy, 2002. Highly recommend this book which I obtained via AMAZON at very reasonable price!

"Hitler's Last Gamble" by Trevor N. Dupuy, 1994 gives number of artillery pieces per division; but not by specific model, only type. The Order of Battle Series from Osprey, The Ardennes Offensive, three editions gives a proposed OB of each panzer artillery regiment, but not actual strength...

Any OB information on this late war formation?
