(Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) Stab I Artillerie-Regiment 7,
(28.4.1940-14.9.1940) Stab I und 1.-3. Batterie Artillerie-Regiment 7,

Re: i am new to the site

You can use this site to search for Feldpost Numbers - http://www.stampsx.com/ratgeber/stempel-datenbank.php - just put the number (leave off any letters) in the box third from bottom named oder Nummer eines Nummernstempels amd press SEARCH. This database doesn't list any numbers 10000 and below. Fo...

Re: Explosive New Book about Kursk Coming out in May

Can you tell me please how this book differs from Mark Healy's excellent Zitadelle that was released a few years ago (in hardback) and already dispelled the myth of Prokhorovkha and German tank strength/losses? Does it go into greater depth (I haven't read any of Nipe's work before)?

Thanks for the additional information, that helps in identifying the signature of Voigtmann in the Wehrpass.

Re: Question about "Grossdeutschland"...

Greetings to all. My wife's father (now deceased) was in GD, the Wachregiment if our information is correct. He was twice wounded on the east Front, and the story is told that he saw the spires of Moscow (Army Group Center I presume). How might I go about verifying his unit service or at least revi...

Re: Looking for information on a "malgre-nous'
