SS Honour Daggers & Swords

Hi all, I am looking for SS edged weapons anyone know any good sources. I know they are mega expensive but I have always wanted a genuine SS dagger. If no originals aboout would consider looking at repros as long as they are good. Can anyone help?

Spotted a copy on ebay this morning on 7 day listing, put it on my watch list and 1 hour later it was gone, the seller had removed it. I emailed him to ask if he was relisting it and he said he'd got an email from a guy in America who had offered him $100 for it, roughly £60!!! It only cost £4.99 wh...

Ref some of the above comments. All of the 5 volumes of the Leibstandarte history have been translated into English by Fedorowicz, although the first 2 are out of print Fedorowicz do plan a reprint in the next year or so. "Michael Wittmann and the Tiger Commanders" is oop but again a repri...

Just thought I'd let everyone know, on checking It looks like he'll only ship to UK anyway. His starting price is £19.99 which is reasonable plus when it was in print it cost £70.00 in the UK which was nearly 10 years ago!!! Still reckon its a bargain for any one in the UK who wants it, it is superb.

Ref the fedorowicz books. The Leibstandarte vols I & II are as Jason says long out of print and do go for silly money on the second hand market. They are superb however and as I have all 5 volumes I can highly recommend them. They will be reprinted in the next year or so (at least thats what the...

Point taken, I understood what Sid was trying to say and perhaps he has a point but I am totally "into" the Waffen SS. Maybe I am missing out somewhere along the line but cannot remove my Waffen SS head.

I appreciate your comments Sid and in no way do I disagree with your point of view (especially ref. Grossdeutschland). Its just as I say the public at large have a certain view of the Waffen SS, I admit I myself am completely absorbed in the subject of the Waffen SS perhaps to my own detriment. Taki...

I know what you mean Sid, however the Waffen SS in particular seem to capture the imagination more than the regular army for some reason. Perhaps its their status as the elite of the Third Reich (especially in the early years), or the fact that their performance in action was usually totally out of ...

Can only agree with the recommendation ref. "Campaign in Russia" by Degrelle. Also worth a look is "For Rex and for Belgium", which is an in depth look at the Rexist movement and has quite a lot of info on Degrelle himself.

I borrowed t from a Library to read and must admit I enjoyed it immensely. I particularly enjoyed his views on the "inner circle". I'm sure you will find something of interest in there.

Hi Sid, no I'm not Rhodesian, its a play on my surname made by friends at work and its just kind of stuck. I have to agree though there must be some subject that needs more coverage. Hi Ridgeback, I do hope you are right. So much duplicated scholarship would be a waste when there is so much virgin t...
