Hello all - I am looking to confirm a panzer type, year, or any other information that may be available using a serial(?) number. I am researching/completing a book - the story of Dr. Günter Polzin - he served exclusively with s.Pz.Abt.503. In a diary entry of his he lists his panzer as being #76387...

Hey Kevin - thanks for the reply -- What I had read was that he was in that position (maybe it was just on paper when he was between other postings..) only for a brief period while 505 was being put together in Belgium. Maybe it was just a case of his name being put forward as a potential commander ...

Can someone confirm -- I hear that Herr von Beschwitz ( abteilung kommandeur s.Pz.Abt. 505) - passed away on May 25, 2011.
