In febraury the regiment was incorporated into the 32. SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Division "30 Januar". The division fought on the Oder front and some parts participated in the Berlin battle.

Perhaps not the Panzerfaust 60 but there were other Panzerfäuste that were widely distrubuted before the Panzerfaust 60 was introduced, i.e. the Panzerfaust klein and gross (range 30 meters).

Thank you Timo, very good information. According to Whiting Barking was shot on the spot, has anyone tried to identify who took his life?

That seems to be the correct tank. Thanks Timo! Do you happen to know the turret number of that tank as well which unit it belonged to?

Hi Ron,

according to the book it was close to Hillegossen which I believe is in the Bielefeld area (by the river Weser). The officer responsible for the area appears to be General Becher. Bielefeld is relatively close to Hannover.

I'm selling a late war photo of polizei soldiers. The former owner told me that it was taking in the Ardennes. Size is 6 x 8,7 cm. Price is 15 Euro, I will pay shipping (unless seller wants insured letter etc). Please send a pm for questions. The photo can be seen at: http://www.thirdreichforum.com/...

German version of Bidermann's In Deadly Combat

I'm looking for anyone who haves the German version of In Deadly Combat by Gottlob Herbert Bidermann. I need to have a certain document scanned that isn't included in the English version. I would be most thankful to anyone willing to help me with this.
