My mum when i was younger used to call my "zand" and i can't see why!
And the reason she gave me the name "Alexander" was because she said it was a "Powerful" name like Alexander the Great

Because if i'm correct didn't the 16.Panzer-Grenadier have the 116.Panzer Battalion. Did this change into a regiment when changed to a Panzer Division? But with the panzers, i can't s...

the 3.Panzer Grenadier Division arrived on December 19th, 1944 (PM) near Euskirchen (North), that is all the data i have, and from a guess, i suppose they help support the Ardennes Offensive by attacking Elsenborn/Monschau, or maybe going round to Malmedy, or Diekirch, possible to Trois Ponts or Sta...

I'm suprised they didn't have much effect since it was the first SS Panzer Division, but you said only a few Panzer-Grenadiers made it to Lissyanka, what happened to the Panzer Regiment, and Recon Battalion, slaughtered, spread out, thrown back, isolated?

I think the Reasons Hitler/Germany lost the war was this : 1. This one was NOT his fault but he had to launch Op.Marita to help the italians and that costed i think 5 Crucial campaigning weeks :( 2. He was fighting too many enemies (Hitler) :D 3. If he had more infantry/tank etc. units in Barbarossa...
