Re: The Landwasserschlepper.
Prosper.
All the other LWS photos in N. Africa that I have ever seen have the LWS in what appears to be a darker colour. That is why for me, this photo is or appears to be unique.

Re: The Landwasserschlepper.
Any idea as to the colour(s) of the LWS pictured above? It appears much lighter than in any other photos I have ever seen .

Re: German tanks in Tripoli 1941.
Lets look at that initial allocation in a bit more detail. The 25x PzKpfw I were all Ausf A The 45x PzKpfw II were all Ausf C The 61x PzKpfw III were I believe Ausf G. But I'm not clear on the exact differences between a 5cm armed Ausf F and an Ausf G, so I am happy to stand corrected. The 17x PzKpf...

Congratulations.

That one was on the original list under PaK simply as "Diana". Your nomenclature is more precise!

Deliveries to North Africa
I understand that on or about 17th September 1941 22 German guns were unloaded, probably at Tripoli.
Does anyone have a record of this delivery, and the type of guns supplied. Speculation is that they were PaK 38.
Thanks,
David.

I agree with Alan re- the photo not being North Africa.
I have waited a long time for confirmation of the 2477's presence, so thank you Alan!
Kind Regards,
David.

A15 Cruusader MkI
Following on from my PzKpfw II question, which was swiftly and accurately answered....
Does anyone know how many of the first 78 A15 Crusaders sent to North Africa were the close support version?
They arrived on convoy WS10x in September 1941.
TIA. David.

Re: Which PzKpfw II
Hi guys. Sorry for the delay in responding, it would seem that I no longer get a notification e-mail when someone replies to me. Alan. The convoy arrived in North Africa around the 19th December 1941. Prosper. Thanks for the date. Von Salza. Thanks for the confirmation. Now if anyone can tell me how...

Which PzKpfw II
The Mediterranean convoy M42 transported 12x PzKpfw II to North Africa. Were they Ausf C or Ausf F.
Thanks.
Thanks.
