Allied Bombing
It's easy to critizie the American bombing effort today because of all the GPS munitions or "smart bombs" that are currently used. I believe that the technology at the time never really allowed for "precision" bobming. Having said that from everything I read on the subject it see...

Christoph Awender,
Nice posts. I can say with all seriousness that I learned something new today.
Common sense dictates that planning for supplies depended on the situation at the time, but the food rations or what was suppose to be their rations was very detailed. Thank you for the information.

I'm in agreement with Jan-Hendrik with Manstein. As for Von_Noobie please be mindful what you post and how it potentially comes across. I understand the point your trying to make, but it comes across that you feel Hitler was justified for taking territory that was not German territory. I agree with ...

corderex, Thank you for your feedback. I'd love to keep discussing posts with you and as such I was just affraid you would take my comments personally and that would affect future posting. corderex, Please tread lightly toward Herr munchener. I'm sure he means no offense. He has sent me private messages and I had no problem with them or him. Also try to remember he is fairly new. I don't want any trouble I'm just asking you to be more patient towards munchener. Best reguards, Bittrich...

Is this gentelman the landlord? Does he own the apartment complex? If not then I'd talk to your landlord about it and try to resolve it through them. This gentelman doesn't seem think too highly of you so a confrontation with him will only make your problem worse. By talking to your landlord the pro...

I'd take the Tiger I or II. Just to know that it could protect due to its thick armour.

Stalingrad
M.H,
I'm sorry your relative never turned up. Sadly I imagine there were a large number of families that faced the same dilema.
In High School we had an exchange student from Germany. We became friends and he told me his grandfather died at Stalingrad.
