I think it would be pretty hard for two different Soviet Fronts to actually collide with each other. I could see units from one front possibly sliding across the front of another where the two meet.

Hi Jason According to the info I got, which is sketchy at best, it's Panzerjager. This unit was supposedly issued with the "Leichter Einheitswaffentrager" a light standardised weapons carriage with a 88mm 43/3. These weapons system were supposedly issued to this unit in Berlin during the l...

3rd Panzerjager Abt.

Looking for any info on, 3rd Panzerjager Abt. of Infantry Division Ulrich von Hutten. During the battle for Berlin the CO may have been a Hauptmann Schneider.

Turret traverse motor

On late model Panzer IVJ's the turret motor was deleted to make room for a larger fuel tank. Does anyone know the reasoning behind this? I mean the deletion of the turret motor and going with a hand crank seems like one of the last things you would want to do.

Wow! I only new of two Willi Heinrich books, "Cross of Iron" and "Crack of Doom". Enjoyed them both, now I find out there is a third. Are there more books by Heinrich?
