Re: FGB prior to Goldap
Thanks Alan
Martin I have never placed a great amount of faith in Wiki but sometime it is a starting point
From what I have read the Pz Bn and the I/Pz Gdr Bn were the units that stopped the Soviet advance. Is this correct or where there other elements of FGB involved?

Re: By train to the frontline...............
I have another from a slightly different angle that I will add, when I find it..., that makes it more obvious that they are aboard a train. Don't know what the gun is tho sorry, could look it up I know but........ It appears to be a 2.8 cm schwere Panzerbüchse 41 (sPzB 41). Nice photo's by the way....

Re: Women In Panzer Uniform?? Comments Please!
One thing that did occur was the use of male uniforms to disguise Helferin while trying to flee or during the prisoner round ups/forced marches at the end of the war in the east.

Re: Fallschrimjager Division 9 1945
Hi Ivan I only have some basic books on the FJ and the usual books on the Battle of Berlin. No I don't have the book you mentioned. I found Martin Block's quote from here: http://forum.panzer-archiv.de/viewtopic.php?t=7851&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 How ever I do not speak/read Ger...

Re: Fallschrimjager Division 9 1945
Thanks folks  I realized that there probably would not be much out there. I have been told that the book "Bloody Streets" has the entire Division with 6,758 soldiers with 8 Hetzers but no other details...... This quote from Martin Block was passed on to me The Jagdpz. 38 company with t...

Fallschrimjager Division 9 1945
Hi
I am looking for information on what FJD9 had for vehicles - if any - and heavy weapons around the Seelow Heights time frame. These would be the unit's that were not at Breslau.
Many thanks for your time and help
Larry

Re: Data about this man
It might be for a wound badge or the riding badge. I don't think it is for the EK otherwise he would have the ribbon for the EK2.
