SS-sonderkommando Dirlewanger in Poland in 41-42
The SS-sonderkommando Dirlewanger was stationed in Poland from late 1941 to spring 1942. It was first in Krakow then in Lublin district. Did it participate in any killings/anti-partisan operations in these areas? Are there any resources on the net about this unit in their period in Poland in 1941-42?

books about luftwaffe ground units
Are there any good books about luftwaffe ground units? I know of two:
-Goering's Grenadiers: The Luftwaffe Field Divisions, 1942-1945 by Monuz
-Luftwaffe Field Divisions 1941-45 (Men-at-Arms) by ruffner
Are they good? Are there any others?

Somebody read "The Ghetto Men: The SS Destruction of the Jewish Warsaw Ghetto April-May 1943" by French Maclean? Good, bad, do you recommend it?

I'm wondering of somebody have some information about Fritz Schubert and/or Jagdkommando Schubert. Schubert commanded "Jagdkommando Schubert" (called sometimes "Schubertiani" and/or "Schuberaios", ca 90-100 soldiers) on Crete in 1942-43 and was later transferred to main...

I found this information in a book i'm reading: Domobranci posts in Slovenia: Small posts had as few as 30 soldiers while the bigger ones had over 140-150. Most of the posts had wire fence and bunkers, sometimes trenches and watch towers. They also usually had light mortars and some machine guns of ...
