If I should translate that line it could be something like this:

Beh. probably meaning behelfsmässig -> emergency; hasty; makeshift
Ger. meaning Ger->Gerät -> equipment

According to information I find, Steinstad was torpedoed and sunk the 15th of February 1940 by U 26 appx 75 nm west of Aran Islands. 13 sailors perished.
