Hi
saw a group of italian soldiers (?) with black (?) fur-caps on their heads standing at Mussolini´s residence on Salo. Might be a group of 30 men. Are they soldiers or what?

I have it here with Lafayette G. Pool and his 258 kills in 80 days. All is kills were done from Normandy to Falais. Did the germans had 258 tanks in the normandy and Fallais pocket? i am not talking about british spezial weapons, i mean the artillery guns used by the - for example - 53rd Division or in the Infantry Brigades.
Was it possible the reach a point in 30 or 50 miles distance? Or is it more 10 or 12 miles?

Hi could anybody explain me what rank/grade have US tank commander? As far as i know there is no difference between today and in WWII. The leader of a tank platoon is always a Lieutenant. He commands 2 squads with each 5 tanks (in war). What rank are the squad leaders and what rank has a common tank...
