Oh man I wish I knew you wanted to sell your "Goodbye Transylvania". I would gladly have bought it from you. If you see any more on Ebay, by all means let me know please. Leux was kind enough to give me a lead that I am following up on, but still looking for all possible opportunties under...

I have seen a couplr of reviews of McMillian's "Proud Monsters" and his other book "Orbit of Darkness ". Looked to be interesting and different, so I ordered both. By your comments I think I may have made a good choice this time (unlike my last- "A Stranger To Myself). Thank...

I thought of a couple of other novels that may be worth mentioning. Gert Ledig's "The Tortured Earth" (I think it goes under another title also.) Also, Hasso Stachow's "If this Be Glory." Both are set on the Ost Front. One that I thought was not worth while to me was "Grandf...

First, would like to extend awarm feldgrau welcome to jplu2. I would have to say you definetly went from one extreme to the other. Black Eldweiss has to be one of the best books of it's kind to come out in years. On the other hand "Stranger To Myself" is just very hard to get a handle on. ...

OK, I have struggled thru a little over half this book. Seems like the writer is a self absorbed, self impressed, twenty something, that likes to thing of himself as an intellect and deep thinker. Not all that uncommon a thing at that age. Seems to never use two words when twenty will do. Very disjo...

Just got it myself in an order I placed. Have not read it yet. Will have to give it a go and give some feedback. I like to try and get different perspectives. Sounds like I may defintely get a different one with this book.

I had no idea that Russ Schneider's "Demyansk" & "Madness Without End" were so hard to find. I just ran four search engines that have turned up hard to find books in the past for me and got zero hits. For whatever it is worth, my copies were published in 1994 & 1995 by Ne...

How about Theodore Pleiver and his triology of "Moscow", "Stalingrad:, "Berlin". His tone is dark and anti war, anti Nazi for sure, but interesting. I guess the best to me was Russ Schneider and his 3 books plus non-fiction "Gotterdamnrung" Enjoy his writing very m...

The book is broken into the different major battles from Dec., 1943 thru the last major battle by the SS armour for Budapest at the end of the war. LSSAH is most extensively covered in the first chapter on Zhitomir. There are several good pictures of LSSAH Panthers in this section. Based on what you...
