I remember the closing of one of the last posts...

we were roasting a goat on the after deck of U-booty, on our last leg of the trip home, I think, IIRC, Biscay bay, when we suddenly saw.......the northern lights!! and they were taken as an omen of good things to come.......

sorry, wrong gun (my mistake) I have seen this gun transported in two pieces, with the barrel carried ina special transport, and the craddle/ in a separate position, and I think it has some kind of screw jacks in the plate at the end of the legs. they could be moved in a special transporter that loads at ground level, towing is out of the question since most of the times the tracks are frozen/rusted, toload, a speciul gantry is assembled around the tanks and then its lifted so the loader can go under it., or jsut use a big crane... :D from m...
