Left are the shoulderboards for an Oberleutnant and the right seems to be the collar tabs for a panzergrenadier.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong, of course :wink:

Daedelus Returned was reprinted last year in a limited run of about (I think) 500 books. I liked it a lot. I found it to be an exciting read full of vivid personal details. He also made reference to a fair bit of Greek mythology, as he admitted to having an interest in it before the Invasion. --Mike

Some great photos on that site. I was under the impression that no FJ units used camouflaged smocks during the crete invasion, but several photos show splinter pattern helmet covers and smocks.
