Hi, If I was a tanker, I won't go in combat with a T72 or a T80. I wouldn't to put my "ass" directly on the shells. The Abrams ( and other western tanks) could protect the crew if the shells explosed, a russian made tank in this case lifts off its turret. For the 4th crewman ( the loader) ...

Hi Enrico, The hell with you, I had to scan this but even if my scanner and OCR are good, the book is not easy to handle on the scanner especially when it is big. Why didn't you choose the Me109 G2, it was in the middle of the book. Anyway I hope it could help you. If you see something weird like a ...

To Paul, I just wrote : Good morning Paul, It's right. Why talking in russian. English is better. Good bye. And the next time we'll try in japanese. No excuse will be accepted because with all the things coming from the "made in Japan" country, you should speak a fluent japanese or you did...

Hi Sid, In fact Malbrouck was the last deformation form of Marlborough. This was still the time where all the foreign names were "frenchized". So for a french Marlborough became Malbro or Malbrou for ending as Malbrouck. Do you know that at the middle age, frenchs called Westminster Westmo...

Hi, For the France it was difficult to go to war when the enemy wasn't at the border and when all the strategy was based on a defensive line ( Ligne Maginot). The frenchs couldn't move their blockhaus. For the brits, they had not a strong army ( a few divisions) just the Royal Air Force and the Roya...

Hi, I haven't the details but I've read that too. But I guess the german broke only the merchant navy code. Anyway I don't think the "U boot" lost the altantic battle just because the brits could read the messages from "Koralie". The real reasons were more escorters able to cross...

Hi,

Are you sure about 240 000 POW after the german defeat in Tunisia. For me 240 000 is for all the North Africa campaign. One of my book says that the 2th may 1943 the Heeres Gruppe Afrika counted 175 000 men ( non combat units men included ).

Hi Ron, To try your Tiger in the snow, I can imagine like that : In a cold russian winter deep in the steppe ( in fact a Seattle pavement), the lonely Tiger is chasing its prey ( the neighbor 's cat). At last the target is getting closer but let's talk the tankers - Achtung, Panzer inbound - Panzer ...

Hi, The Merkava is different than the other tanks. Israelians don't use their tanks as europeans. By example the engine is in the front instead to be in the back and the Merkave is too wide to be carried on railway because in Israel it doesn't need to carry tanks on long distance because the enemies...

Hi Sid, Sorry to nitpick but in the song it isn't Marlborough but Malbrouck is going to war.
