Now if you'll just translate it Raúl, us semi-literate English speakers can read it too!

The name that I posted before: Hptm. Binnewies, is the only commander of Nachrichtenabteilung 7 (as listed in Formationsgeschichte u. This is from Axis Biographical Research, http://www.geocities.com/~orion47 - BTW he was not VON Rommel, and he was nowhere near Dunkirk in March 1940. Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Johannes Eugen Rommel Born: 15. Nov. 1891 in Heidenheim an der Brenz / Württemberg, near Ulm. Suicide: 14. Oct. 1944 in He...

I would guess that it means that prisoner reports indicate that there is an ammo dump there.

Re: 17pz and 23rd panzer during relief of stalingrad
Yes, v.Mellenthin refers to the "23 PGD" but it is a typo. He also refers to the "PGR 128" as being a part of the 23 PGD, PGR 128 was in fact part of the 23 Pz. Div. Jerry BTW, there is also some good information on these actions in a manuscript prepared for the US Army Military ...

Re: 17pz and 23rd panzer during relief of stalingrad
Eduard,
According to Panzer Truppen by Jentz:
17 PzD - 9 PzKw II, 30 PzKw III(kz), 18 PzKw IV(kz), 3 PzBef
23 PzD - 5 PzKw II, 12 PzKw III(kz), 15 PzKw III(lg), 4 PzKw IV(kz), 4 PzKw IV(lg)
I'm not aware of the involvement of any StuG unit nor of any Romanian unit.

Hugh,
Keilig does show Rasp as Ia, AOK 1 from 19 Oct '39 to 31 Dec '39, however both Mehner and Wegmann/Zweng have AOK 1 Ia list corresponding with Axishistory.com list you show. I'd go with the AH.com list.

Re: 19th Panzer Division - Aug 1941.
