Case Red, and new 10. SS Panzer books.
Robert Forczyk has a new book on the second operation in the German war against France 1940 called "Case Red." I'm really excited about it since most books on the period focus on Case Yellow, and there really isn't a really good book on this operation in English! https://www.amazon.com/Cas...

Re: Career, crimes and trial of SS-Stubaf. Gustav Knittel...
Timo Worst's book "Career, crimes and trial of SS-Sturmbannführer Gustav Knittel" is one of the better world war 2 biographies I have read in a long time. It is an unbiased piece of heavily researched history, that presents all aspects of the man, both the good and the bad, without any jud...

"The Battle of the Belgian Plain" Gunsburg
I'm reading Frieser's "The Blitzkrieg Legend" and would like to know more about the battle of Hannut. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the article "The Battle of the Belgian Plain" by Jeffrey Gunsburg? Thanks.

Erich Rudorffer passed away.
I don't know how accurate the information is considering it's on Wikipedia, but it states that the last living Swords winner Erich Rudorffer passed away on April 8th at the age of 98.

Best book on Africa and Normandy?
I was wondering if anyone knew of the best book that covers the entire campaign in Africa, as well as one on Normandy? I don't really like general overviews, I prefer extremely tactical and operational books with numerous detailed maps. Books like those by Glantz, Jason Mark, NIpe, Stahel, Hinze, Ti...
