I only know Klein was wounded and Wagner succeeded him and kept commanding the regiment until 1942 when he was wounded.

Infanteriedivision Einsatz und Gefechtsüberischt is really not worth buying except when u collect histories. It is nothing more than a gefechtskalender, an incomplete stellenbesetzung without dates...
