Fair enought Ron Klages, I made an honest mistake and am sorry but In reality which was better, The Panther or the Tiger I, The Tiger I and Panther were pretty much equal, The Tiger I had thicker armour but the panther made up for ths with sloped armour, The Tiger I had a bigger gun but the panther ...

Taylor Collector, You cant say the K98 is the most important weapon for germany in ww2 becouse it wasnt, Never even came near, it was a sniper with out a scope, Its range was more than necissary so to much effort went into a rifle that wouldnt be able be used over that range without a scope, If your...

You could say the K98 but...i really cant say that as the Panzers were most crucial to Germany as they Gave them there early victorys and and then kept them in the war still.

Well lets look at this another way, 1)How easy it was to produce? 2)How many tanks did it take to knock it out? (eg: 6 shermans to take out a single Tiger) 3)How long could it travel for before it needed servicing? 4)What tarrain could it move on effectivily? 5)Other? Panther G; 1)Semi-hard to produ...

I know they did have one at the Aberdeen Proving Ground but i dont know about it being sent back to Germany, Maybe for a restoration or Germany bought it back or just maybe the Yanks gave it to them as a sign of good faith.

Even in a defensive Battle you need Tanks with Traverse, But the ratio of traverse and none-traverse tanks is what we need to know, im guessing 25-75 for traverse and none-traverse, So if my math is correct the number of traverse tanks os 300 while the number for none traverse tanks is about 1,800-2...

I like the little stuff but i LOVE the big stuff, Know just need to save about 200,000 Australian just to go and buy some 45 King tigers 1/6th scale models, All motorised and even having smoke come outthe exhaust.
Any idea on how many half tracks and trucks were assigned to a Tiger Battalion

Well i did some estimating with my trusty calculator and found out that had the Germans abanoned production of the Tiger between March and August 1944 the Germans could have built 1200 panthers approx, Rather than the 300 or so Tigers built in that time. I personnaly beleive it would have been better,

North Africa

I was doing some reading and came along some info about North africa, I found out that Rommol could ave held the British if he had been allowed to pull back to the Akarit line, A 12 mile stretch of land that ran from the sea to an area known as Chott el Jerid (made up of salt lakes and marshes) maki...

Ok, The allies would have destroyed there supplies at Antwerp, The only way they could have captured them would be by launching an airborne assault which would need no less than 9,000 troops, The Germans had at best the ability to drop 1,800, no more. the breakthrough would be small at first, yes bu...

Ok lets figure out how long the advance is going to take before we can work out what we can do with the Russians, The defence around the Russian lines cold work as that requires little armour but enought AT guns, But offensive measures can not be taken in until the west is delt with, I would assume ...
