Re: questions on the Ramcke Brigade

Does anyone know what vehicles the II Abteilung Falschrim Jaeger Artillerie Regiment 7 used for towing their 10cm LG2 guns whilst in North Africa?

Re: Prime movers

On a slightly different tack, are there any cross country speeds recorded anywhere for the SdKfz 250 & 251 series of half tracks?

Specifically the type and weight of H.E filler in the H.E round. And the penetration statistics of the A.P round. (I have heard that these were...

Re: Prime movers

Re: Prime movers

Anywhere on T'Internet that gives some performance figures for German half tracks of WWII?

I am interested in Road speed, cross country speed, range and the effect of towing guns on the said speeds and range.

Re: Prime movers

What about the 15.0cm S/IG 33 L/11, any ideas?
I seem to think that they were a bit of a desert rarity. Perhaps just in the heavy weapons companies of the Motorised Infantry/Panzer Grenadiers?

What about the captured Russian 7.62cm field piece?
I have seen photos of one behind an Opel Blitz, but was this usual practice?

Re: Anyone still play Avalon Hill games?

I have Afrika Korps and Panzerblitz. I did not know that the latter had any add ons. I would have thought that the board wargame would have translated beautifully to PC. I can see many advantages as well as being feline proof, but have never come across any . Allied General was the only one I found,...

Tom.

Incredibly I have only just found this thread!
If the cost of sending them across the "pond" is not prohibitive, put me down for a set please.
I'll p.m you a postal address.
Best wishes,

David (Wirblewind).
