Tank & Anti-tank Gun Accuracy

There are a huge ammount of tables and charts listing the armour piercing qualities of various guns, firing different ammo at differing ranges against various slopes of armour. Some are of dubious quality, some seem very accurate. But what is distictly lacking is any information on the accuracy of t...

No of men in FlaK, Artillery& Panzerjager Battalions

Circa 1941/2 how many men would have been in a FlaK Battalion? how many men would have been in an artillery Battalion? how many men would have been in a Panzerjager Battalion? Would this number have varied much if the Battalions were equipped with self propelled vehicles instead of motorised?

ARKO 104 Leo, Richard & TJK

Thank you all for your replies.. All the information I gave in my original post (except the alternative names, which with hindsight may be misleading) came from a chapter in a book I got out of the library ten to twelve years ago. Needless to say I can't remember the title or author. The railway par...

Can any one tell me when the 2nd & 3rd battalions of this artillery regiment arrived in North Africa, and where. Also, what pieces was the 3rd battalion armed with?

Thank you

ARKO 104

Located at Belhammed, and used in the first siege of Tobruk mid -late 1941. A "mish-mash" of medium to medium heavy guns, of mainly non-German origin,...
