Re: Independent Heeres units

Hello David,

Plural "Heerestruppen" - singular "Heerestruppe"
If you mean e.g. a Panzerjägerabteilung which was under the command of a higher command like an Armeekorps or Armeeoberkommando.

Re: Panzer Regiment 29

Hello, That is why I asked above. You mix up a tactical marking and a unit insignia. What you see here on the photo is no TACTICAL marking but a unit insignia (Truppenkennzeichen). Pz.Rgt.29 used the divisional insignia which can be found on my site. /Christoph PS: Above you see the unit insignia (T...

Re: Panzer Regiment 29

Hello,

Do you mean the tactical sign or the unit emblem? The tactical sign would be that for a Panzerkompanie. Pz.Rgt.29 had no regimental emblem but used the normal divisional insignia.

Re: Air assets

Hello William, Just that I understand your question. You are looking for Stuka units which were in the operations area of the 4.Pz.Div. and could have been involved in support missions for this division? And in connection with the Stuka (if you mean the Ju-87) it is important what you understand wit...
