Sadly our friend Dr. Hugo Neyenhuis died just before midnight on May 8th in Portland, Oregon. Hugo believed that he was the last surviving member of the 34th SS Freiwilligen Division "Landstorm Nederland".

I am still reading my copy of Vol 1 of the new "Wiking" series. There is a lot of text in the book and reading in the French language takes some time. The photos are excellent and once again Charles succeeds in finding some very good original photos.

I am really looking forward to seeing Mark's books about the "Wiking" DKiG holders. I'm sure that we will all be amazed by the new photos and interesting details that Mark always manages to turn up.
