Yes Kiev was a part of Poland. And only when The Russian Empire began expanding and partitioning Poland was it forcibly removed. Besides the Ukrainians were happily participating with us and wanted to be part of the Polish Commonwealth as before. In your heart of hearts you only wish to be part of P...

Source: Katyn, Anders' army survivors and the IPN(Instytut Pamieci Narodowej) estimates that the USSR systemtically deported and executed over 1 million Polish citizens from 1939 to 1941. Out of that approx 100,000(mostly as malnourished and disease ridden walking dead, in fact wearing the same clot...

well i have to force in my two cents, lets have no illusions about this gentlemen the Soviets were as much of an enemy to Poland as were the germans. Now I know the arguement that the Germans killed 6 million and the Soviets killed only a little over 1million Poles. However I believe that this was p...

60th Anniversary of Victory

Well its upon us again, another celebration of the Red Army's victory over Germany. As usual its oozing controversy, and yes again its Poland at its center. Members of the Polish Parliament protest Polish President's Kwasniewski's attendance of the commeration ceremonies in Moscow. They point out th...

Last time we kicked germans asses Battle of Britain 1940 Monte Cassino 1943 Holland 1944 Berlin 1945(there were actually Polish troops who took part in the storming of the city) Also uprisings in Slask and Greater Poland which were very succesful in expelling the Krauts. As far as me "bitching" we need to scream about the holocaust to the heavens, because we do not we will forget and we will bound to repeat it again. Im reminded of baseball with germany three strikes and youre out. You've allready had two.

no we cannot call Auschwitz Oswiecim because Oswiecim is a town. In fact it was a town since the 1300's whereas Auschwitz was the camp built by your people in 1942 outside the town about 10km. Therefore it would be an insult to the town and its inhabitants. Also a German name for a concentration cam...

I fully agree that Auschwitz is a monstrosity. As far as a monument to German suffering we allready have those theyre called Auschwitz, Treblinka, Majdanek, Pawiak Prison, Dachau, Belsen, Buchenwald should I go on? Im sure MANY Germans suffered in those places of boredom, perhaps carpal tunnel syndr...

true we do not pay for many of our "western" cars but this is only because all of our hard currency(along with many of our gold teeth) mysteriously dissapeared from 1939 to 1945, any idea where it all went?

this matter is not humorous in any degree. the sentiment of "loss" is very real in germany both in Europe and abroad. I remember attending a function in a German hall where on the walls were proudly hung the coats of arms of "german" provinces included in these of course were Pomeranien and Silesian...

Alterior Motives

Perhaps I may suggest a plausible alterior motive for placing the blame on Poles for the holocaust as opposed to Germans. Think about it, if you were BMW, Porshce, Mercedes, Black&Decker, VW, BOSS, Adidas etc would you want for people to think of your heritage as German=Nazi firms? Now take into con...
