8,8 cm. Flak 36 / 37 with muzzle brake?

Hi,

I just saw the movie "Der Untergang" (very imressive) and in it came a 8,8 cm. Flak 36 / 37 with a muzzle brake a couple of times along. Since I never saw it before, I wondered if this was more than an one of a kind in 1945?

They (Regiment 1. and 2. Brandenburg) were somewhat special Jäger units, since the belonged to the Panzerwaffe instead of Jäger.

II. Batallion contained Abteilungen 5-10 in 1945.

Well, I think there would be a lot more Bergs in the Second World War. Lets not forget Hptm. Karl-Erich Berg, commander of Stumgeschütz-Brigade 191 from november 1944 till the end of the war.

Because of the superiority of the Russian KV-1 and T-34, an order was issued to mount the 7.5cm KwK40 as quickly as possib...

Hello,

Just saw that the mentioned pdf-document belonged to a board game, wouldn't really want to state that this is a valuable resource. But since it also mentions the unit present at the KGr, it is a little bit of proof...

Tom, I've read the thread including Timm's conclusion that SS-Pz.Jg.Abt. 10 would be located around Aachen - Kerkrade at the thist time. I find it hard to believe, however it off course is stated in a war diary... I have several more sources which conclude that this unit was placed under the command...
