I have scanned into a pdf the index of the collection, it is a big file that wont be supported here, and dont have my own website. If anyone wants to host it I will send it to them for posting.

Re: Map set order

Peter-

You maps just went out. I hate to point fingers, but the problem was on Jason's end, as I didn't get everything I was promised until this week from him. You should have them within a week.

Re: Aerial Reconnaissance Archives

There are two main archives: NARA and the former TARA. Dont bother with NARA unless you can shell out a fair amount of money.

Try : http://aerial.rcahms.gov.uk/worldwide/

Also pricey, but fast.

Re: German Cemetry Jamnoje

If one of you sends me the geocoordinates I can check the German aerial photos. I have done this for about 12 sites already for the Volksbund and have helped them located about 9,000 to 12,000 graves. I match up 1941-1944 aerial photos and German made Stadt Plans with Google Earth. Unfortunetly abou...

Mario-

Yes I got you last post, and the maps are on the way. Oddly enough I have the worst luck with the post going to Italy. I have another large set that was "lost" and I am having to resend. You should get them soon. Thanks!

Re: NARA Centralized Catalog

From what I know as a volunteer at NARA, the article is correct, but dont hold your breath, every single item in ARC must be condenced and sort of "cliff-noted" by a person them type it into arch. The ERA (electronic records archive) is the replacement for ARC I understand. So the powers a...

Re: Books shops in the D.C. area

I have lived in DC for about 10 years, and the non-B&N stores are few and far between. You might check out

http://www.secondstorybooks.com/

and

http://www.bartlebysbooks.com/shop/bartleby/index.html

You should find a few jems there.
