Re: Did Rudolph Hess have the hots for Lord Beaverbrook?
I'm curious about the origins of Aussies referrring to Brits as "poms"? I tried to look it up, but nothing. ock: It is spelt POHMS and supposedly stands for "Prisoners of Her Majestey". The thing is, it is a bit rich coming from a nation who's ancestors were a largely convicts. ...

You would want to see some of the school books that kids are being forced to read in England today. Many lay the blame squarely on the Pole which is absolutley ridicilous. People don't realise that Poles were being murdered in Auschwitz long before Jews were being murdered. Birkenau was built for th...

YOu are all heritics. British food is the greatest on God's earth. Roast dinner is simply the best food on the planet. Pies and Cornish pasties are mannah from heaven. Spotted Dick, Bread and Butter pudding or Carrot cake (all served with Birds custard) is the food of kings. It really pisses me off ...

The other day...
phoned up a really gorgeous ex-girlfriend of mine the other day. We Lost track of time, chatting about the wild nights we used to enjoy together. I couldn't BELIEVE it when she asked if I'd like to meet up and maybe rekindle a little of that magic. "Wow!" I said "I don't know if I cou...

Tin Tin, Herge, The Rexist Party and German Collaboration
Can anybody tell me if there is any truth that Herge (Georges Remi) the creator of Tin Tin, wrote articles for a Rexist Party Publication? I had heard on this forum some years ago that this was the case but cannot find the thread. Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Comparison of Conscript and Volunteer Armies
I have been reading a lot recently of the BEF during the opening stages of WWI and it has been quoted as the finest and most capable British army that ever went to war. Their musketry skills were second to none and the first time German forces engaged the British their rifle fire was so rapid and ef...

Mr C. Udentz Thanks for your opinion which I respect. I would counter with the fact that von Rudenstedt had no inhibitions about telling Hitler where to get off and was twice relieved of his command for disagreeing with Hitler only to be recalled. In 1941 Rundstedt strongly opposed continuing the ad...
