This may be true but as mentioned above, the Spandau was a generic term used by British Army veterans for any German machine gun. Also of note, the "Hitler Saw" was a name used by the Soviets only. No other western army called it this.

I thought the first Reich was around the time of Bismark, the second was Kaiser Wilhelm, and the third was Adolf Hitler?
I don't think that the Holy Roman Empire came into it at all.
