Can anyone confirm that a WW2 German Navy phonetic alphabet existed?
I have read that Sophie for 'S' was used instead of Siegfried.
Thanks
Michael

S-Boot KTBs?
I have two questions regarding S-Boote:
1. Were Kriegstagebuch used as seen in U-Boote?
2. If so, where can I find such KTBs?
Thanks
Michael

Binoculars
Anyone know the standard for issuing binoculars in the German WW2 Army?
Was it issued depending on rank, function or both?
Thanks
