Adré has the "Johan Strauss orchestra", with a homebase in Limburg, Nederland;but his repertoire is very varied, from walzes - Bagpipes - Marching - and opera/operette .. He also has put on shows literally all over the world. He draws unbeliavble big crowds, who, looking at the vido clips ...

If I remember it right, the uniform was similr to the Heer, but the adler etc were in yellow (gold) not like the regular arm, siver.
But that is a long time ago, so i may ne wrong.

I don.t know what this has to do with Kafka, but the music (as all others by André Rieu) is certainly enjoyable.

Hello again, Just had a flashback. There was indeed a Regimental or Divisional training set up in Apeldoorn in about December 1944, but it was of course abandoned early 1945 when the Canadians crossed the Ijssel river and created a pocket. This is not an ironclad memory, just a "flashback"...

However, don't you think dat 60 years later, whatever was in there, eiher went to the recycling, or got in the hands of some collector?
