Staged/Modern Day Re-enactment?

I just thought this looks a little bit too clean. Possible re-enactment - what do you think? I was also wondering what's in the mans right hand, the one with the radio head-set. http://i488.photobucket.com/albums/rr246/In_The_City/flak88.jpg it can be viewed larger here: http://anonymous-generaltopi...

Hi Guys, An interesting topic. I think Imad made a good point “it's hard to see how someone could actually arrive at an accurate number unless he was counting during the heat of combat!” 12,000 MG 42 rounds and 400 K98 rounds were fired with 2,000 kills. It seems like there is a big discrepancy with...

With IE if you have a mouse with the roller scroller (yes that’s a technical term  ) in the middle. Holding Control and scrolling back makes the text big and oblviously forward makes it smaller. A good quick method.

All the best

I wouldn’t limit your search to just “SS Sniper” tactics. From what I have learned each man would develop his own techniques in the field. A wide variety of sources would be required to get a good overview of sniper/sharpshooter. A member of the Feldgrau forum and SS sniper I do believe - Milan Lorm...

Hello,

The most recent book I read on Stalingrad was the popular overview “Stalingrad by Anthony Beevor”.
Beevor also covered both the Russian and the German sides of the coin - I think he did this rather well.

How does it compare? (If anyone has read both)
