i have the 3 volumes of feldpost numbers........
but it would be very hard to backtrack.........it goes by the number.......then tells you the unit.

I have 2 photo albums from the 90th infantry regt, russland!
i collect photo albums, diaries, etc, and am building a large photo library, in my collection, i have two albums, from two different soldiers, both on russian front, both were in the 90th infantry regiment. was your father or grandfather in this division? ie,...........why are you interested in it? ...

those are two german artillerymen,........
the two germans are regular army, guy on the right is a sgt, other guy is a private, the private has dark color'ed piping on his over seas cap, which means,.........black = pioneer, red = artillery. if it was white, would be infantry. they are not reichsbahn guys though. totally different uniform.

need help with a unit flash........german cavalry??
it is a triangle shaped pennant, on a pole. simple enough unit flash.....but cant find it anywhere!! here's a picture of it, it's to the right of the license plate!

need help identifying unit flash on a fender!! cavalry??
need help identifying this unit symbol on the fender well guys.......does anyone out there know? it's just to the right of the license plate. it's a triangle pennant, nothing inside it, on a stick/pole.

they did take photos, but it depends on the person,.......most did not have cameras........very difficult to find russian photo albums, even over there. i have a few. usually almost always officers. another thing people dont think about, but film was fairly scarce by the end of the war, and guys wer...

i collect military photos, and have over 100,000 of them in my collection,......which is ever growing............sometimes totally out of control! yes, gi's, and germans carried photos of their loved ones, not big albums full of them,......just a small momento, to give them motivation to make it thr...
