Hi CvD.... ......and those would be? Cheers, Sid. Well Sid, I would really like to take the time and tell you what you no doubt have heard many times before, but hey! Also this is again going off on a tangent. You likely know the arguments Sid - consider my post more of where I stand rather than po...

What "injustices of Versailles"?
Those that led to World War II. Those that exist to this day.

Chris von D, you don't really sound like you come from Australia, for if you did you would be happy with how Germany is now, unless you had a great reason which everybody would like to hear. If only your country was part of the british empire again... 17 SS Panzer Grenadier, your German Queen will ...

Until such time as Germany receive their 1914 lands back, the injustices of Versailles are not over. Simple as that. I am not talking about colonies here but rather mainland Europe.

Re: Versailles

In my opinion Germany should have never signed this flawed document and called the Allies bluff. I concur. Germany never lost the first world war. They simply surrendered - those who surrendered should have been put up against a wall facing a firing squad. The Reichswehr never lost the first world ...

I asked what you think would be a fair treaty if the Germans reached 21/6/41, Germany would let most of Holland, Belgum and France go. Border areas west of the Rhine would become part of Germany. Denmark, Norway and Poland would remain Germanic. Switzerland would be invaded - someone please do this...

One correction. There would not be a lone leader as suggested. The "leader" would be duly elected by the people but for a fixed term. The person who ends up leading will have attained that position through democratic processes. Exactly how will all this be achieved? Well the best minds wil...

Just for fun Chris...if you would wake up tomorrow and had the power to do what you want...what would you do? HOW would you unifiy Europe? (My take is it will be a natural process needing centuries) But you say you want it quick. Don't forget Europe is still pretty much tribal! So, what would be yo...

I want the German lands restored or a single Europe. Unfortunately I don't have the means to impliment my wishes but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate. Being Catholic, I would actually create a new Holy Roman Empire and I like the Polish people, Saint John Paul II, and I strongly disagree as to how othe...

And in some hundred years? Who knows... :[] Europe has two choices, fight or live together. To live together means a single currency, no borders, a single judicial system, a single legislative parliamentary system. In 20 years Europe may have 1 phone, which the US President can call. Then the rise ...

I believe Germany should be given back all the Germanic lands. I want the current German lands currently under occupation returned - as a minimum, that being the lands of 1914. I also want to see all foreign military units out of Germany. Until the day that Germany has the lands back and has it's ow...

Now, Chris, if you find something in those French pages (See pix and documents) that sounds to be of interest, I can send you those pics and documents, plus a text in Franglish for you to correct and put on line from your end. G'day Daniel, Thanks for the suggestion but as I have stated above in my...

U.S. (and French) abuse of German PoWs, 1945-1948

U.S. (and French) abuse of German PoWs, 1945-1948 http://www.cyberussr.com/hcunn/for/us-germany-pow.html An interesting website. "The German annual death rates in US hands (1%?) p-2 and French hands (2.6%) p-3 were a whole order of magnitude less than for US PoWs in Japanese hands (27%) p-4, Ge...
