Recently finished Gerd Niepold's excellent Battle For White Russia: The Destruction of Army Group Centre June 1944.

Zetterling & Frankson's very fine The Korsun Pocket.

Reread Niehorster's The Royal Hungarian Army, 1920-1945 again.

Received an email from Amazon saying it wouldn't be available until some time in December. I see HELION is publishing it, which is interesting and not KANSAS press this time around. :shock:

ISLAND OF FIRE is an instant classic on the eastern front IMHO. JASON MARK is right up there with the very best authors on the eastern front no doubt, along with NASH, NIPE, LE TISSIER, KERSHAW. Smashing job! My signed copy is #66. :evil:
