Re: Welcome to the forum, tell us about yourself!

Hello And I would like to thank those that built this forum and keep it up and running. I have been a member for a while now but just haven't paid a visit for a while. I'am a collector of WW2 german miltaria and weapons, mainly army related. I have also been doing some research on two of my family m...

I agree, also it makes you wonder that in 45 they would still even have worried about keeping a rcoerd of issued items and such seeing how bad the war was going for germany. You would think by that time the supply company would just be handing out any type of weapon they could get thier hands on and...

Then he was assigned to a pioneer company in 44. and in 44 he was issued a 98k and a Seitengewehr . And...

thanks for info

Thank you for the info on displaying. We have a military museum here, I have donated some items and set up a exhibit there. I was needing to know the value of the piece in order to know if it would need to be placed in a more secure setting. Some of the items are out more in the open in order to let...

HJ ski award maybe?? does anyone know??

I have found this pin that has a set of skies with a edelwiess flower in the center of the skies. On the flower is the HJ symbol (centered on the flower which is centered on the skies). The skies are then riveted and soldered to a circle (skies centered in the circle). On the top of the circle is &q...
