Im just learning this myself, but the "German Military Dictionary" lists "Wart" as a - ground mechanic, maintenance man; mechanic, rigger; man in charge; warden, lookout.

A variety of choices but perhaps lookout may apply in this case.

I have come across a couple of abbreviations that I cant translate;
z.zt
bzw.

They are from a Corps Order for the 46th Panzercorps for July 15, 1941.

V1 and V2's

Which Luftwaffe units were responsible for the V1 and V2 weapons. Any information on which units constructed the launch sites would also be useful. My grandfather was in a Luftwaffe Pioneer battalion and I remember my grandmother saying he was involved with the V1 and V2 launchings.
