The flip side being if you can't find anything else in a language you can read Franz Kurowski does make entertaining bathroom reading.

Its on the level of Paul Carrell (sp?).

Good feel for the how a person might have felt or done something... but not history or an after action report.

Well, the American Wages of Destruction came out in 2007. There might have been an European printing earlier... but I don't know.

I bought my copy a week after it hit the book stores, around April/May 2007.

I personally plan on finding a book store that has it, and skimming in person.

I don't want to spend money on it - if book sales are high, publishers will take that as a signal that kind of drek sells. Not to mention the authors will profit off it.

You could take it as a compliment- you have enough of an internet presence, and a good enough site that you are worth attacking.

Wasn't Churchill who stated that it was good to have enemies - that it meant you stood up for something in your life?

I doubt you have a cause of action in the US however, US libel law is rather limited by the consistution (yes, scraps of it still exist). Clauk it up to the decline of the west, and academia in general. If you are personally attacked in it, and it makes you feel better to write letters and express d...

Don't get me wrong I like the book to. But the captioning and the translations are awful. Frequently the pictures will contradict themselves with in a few pages. ie (made up example, book not at work) page 2 T34 was best tank ever. Page 3 T34 worst tank ever. Page 4 T34 was hopeless (picture is of T...

Martin Block- I was citing Jentz stating HG had one.

I'm interested in seeing if you can confirm that Jentz got that wrong. Its rather rare to find a problem with his work! :[]

Go there or amazon and read reviews.

All of WWII German is a rather large topic... and if you don't like the complexity of the above book, alot will be worse. Wages of Destruction pratically requires you have an economics degree... :[]
